Tilley & Barrett supervisor awarded Demolition Supervisor of the Year at Wates Supply Chain Awards
Congratulations to Tilley & Barrett site supervisor, Jason Davey, who was awarded Demolition Supervisor of the Year at this years’ Wates Supply Chain Awards.
Jason has been commended by Wates for his exceptional work as Demolition Supervisor at our complex Kings Road project. The project involves the development of the Curzon Cinema and surrounding blocks in Chelsea. Jason has been on the project since it commenced and has been leading by example in all aspects of his role as Demolition Supervisor.
Tilley & Barrett Demolition (part of the Toureen Group) are currently undertaking the demolition phase for this project that will see the cinema, a residential apartment block, pub and office space partially demolished. Major demolition works will take place throughout the project, including the removal of steel trusses up to 55 tonnes in weight, which span the whole way across the cinema roof.
The plans will restore the historic façade of the original art-deco Gaumont Theatre building, introducing the best of modern design in harmony with its historic surroundings.
Congratulations Jason on this fantastic achievement!
