The Old War Office is an iconic 580,000sq. ft. Grade II Listed building on Whitehall, in the heart of London. The disused former Government building of national heritage importance is being sensitively repurposed to create a five-star 125-key luxury hotel and 85 studio-to-five bedroom apartments.
Toureen was appointed as main contractor for the ambitious refurbishment. The huge scope of works on this extremely challenging project include three new stories and the ambitious development of four new basement levels.
The final project will also boast a grand new ballroom and leisure spaces, whilst maintaining its status as one of London’s landmark buildings.
